Project: Vision of the Future
"Designing a product for 10-15 years in the future"
Understanding the origin of street art, starts with knowing the basics. Street Art has evolved into a professional career. Companies invest large quantities to install murals, identifying an opportunity in the market. This project envisions the future where creating murals is more efficient, safer, and sustainable.

The Spray Paint Can has remained the same for 3 decades.
Spray paint cans are hazardous waste, nearly impossible to recycle
Low VOC paint and Air compression systems exist, but not niched towards fine detail and empathy towards the artist

Identifying User Needs
I have experience with spray-painting, but after interviewing three local Muralists I was able to break down what the user needs. Taking in consideration their variation in styles, preferences, and wants. This machine needed to be versatile, easily switch between caps, colors, and respond to the users needs. Along with that a system that allows the user to reuse paint, and stay safe during the process.
